How to get there

The Uists are interconnected by causeways and can be reached by ferry (there are daily services to Berneray, Lochmaddy, Lochboisdale or Eriskay - bookings through Caledonian MacBrayne) or plane (daily flights to Benbecula Airport - bookings through British Airways or Loganair).

 
Coming from Berneray / Lochmaddy ferry terminal or Benbecula Airport:
Following the main road/sign posts, head towards the Isle of South Uist (main direction: Lochboisdale). Once you have reached Balivanich on Benbecula (after 29 miles from Berneray, 19 miles from Lochmaddy) - or if you are coming from the airport - follow the main road all the way through the village. When leaving Balivanich, you will reach Mornay B&B (on the right-hand side) after approximately 350 yards. 

Coming from Eriskay / Lochboisdale ferry terminal or Benbecula Airport:
Head north on the A865 main road towards the Isle of North Uist (main direction: Lochmaddy). After 33 miles from Eriskay or 26 miles from Lochboisdale, you will be passing the Hamlet of Nunton (Baile nan Caileach) with its centuries-old graveyard. Keep going for another mile and you will reach Mornay B&B (on the left-hand side).
